Reclaimed Whisky Barrel Spring Bulb Garden Planter

Create a beautiful spring flower display with our genuine reclaimed oak whisky barrel planter. With its generous 65cm diameter, this large half-barrel planter provides plenty of space for planting spring flowering bulbs and creating colourful seasonal displays for your garden, patio or entrance.

Made from an authentic reclaimed whisky barrel, every planter has its own natural character, with original oak staves, metal hoops and signs of its previous life.

Perfect for Spring Flowering Bulbs

This large whisky barrel planter is ideal for planting a mixture of spring bulbs during autumn and winter ready for a colourful display in spring.

Suitable for planting bulbs such as:

• Daffodils
• Tulips
• Crocus
• Hyacinths
• Muscari (grape hyacinths)
• Alliums
• Snowdrops
• Other seasonal flowering bulbs

Create a Layered Bulb Display

The generous depth and width of the barrel make it ideal for creating layered bulb displays, sometimes known as bulb lasagne planting. Different varieties can be planted at different depths to provide a succession of flowers throughout spring.

Once the spring display has finished, the planter can be reused for summer flowers, shrubs, herbs, ornamental grasses or other seasonal planting.

Genuine Reclaimed Whisky Barrel

Each planter is produced from a genuine reclaimed whisky barrel. Natural variations in the oak, grain, colour, markings and metal hoops mean that no two planters are exactly the same.

The rustic reclaimed appearance makes these planters suitable for traditional and contemporary gardens, patios, entrances and outdoor spaces.
